How it's calculated
(A+B)ᵢⱼ = Aᵢⱼ + Bᵢⱼ · (AB)ᵢⱼ = Σₖ Aᵢₖ·Bₖⱼ · det/transpose per standard definitions.
A = [1 2; 3 4], B = [5 6; 7 8] → A+B = [6 8; 10 12].
Common questions
How do I enter a matrix?
Separate rows with ';' and values with spaces or commas. Example: '1 2; 3 4' is a 2×2 matrix.
Why only 2×2 and 3×3?
These cover the vast majority of textbook problems and keep the UI simple. Larger matrices are better handled in dedicated software.
