Ordering the right volume
Concrete is sold by the cubic yard (US) or cubic meter (metric). Compute length × width × depth in consistent units, convert to yards or meters, and add 5–10% for waste, spillage, and uneven subgrade. Under-ordering means an emergency second truck; over-ordering wastes money.
